Furthermore, due to the large number of COVID-19 cases, starting with 9 November 2020 the following restrictions have been taken and will remain in place for 30 days, with the possibly of being renewed:

• masks, covering the nose and mouth, are mandatory for all people over the age of 5, both indoor and outdoor;
• all employees must work from home; where specific activities do not allow it, there must be at least a 2-hour difference between shifts;
• all schools will be closed and teaching activities will take place exclusively online;
• night time curfew is in place between the hours 23.00 – 05.00, with the exception of transport to/from work, seeking medical assistance, purchasing medicine, or providing care to children/elderly; for these instances, personal declaration forms or professional declaration form / employer declaration / work card are required – see here for the template (in Romanian);
• shops are open between 05.00 and 21.00, except for food delivery, pharmacies and gas stations;
• all private and public parties, indoor and outdoor, are banned;
• indoor markets and fairs are closed – measure subject to possible revision.
